Past, Present and Future

Past

When I was younger, I loved to play Flood Escape 2 on Roblox. I was obsessed with Flood Escape 2 Map Test, as it allowed people to make their own maps. One day when I was watching a runthrough video of a map with the song "Holy War" by Boom Kitty and I instantly fell in love with the song and found it super cool in combonation with the map's sync. I found the song and then went down a rabit hole with the music as the fun 6 year old I was. Later on, I found that Waterflame made a lot of different things that was in community maps, and I instantly grew to love his music. After that, It moved to more house music. I was a fine chap when it came to listening to house music. Then along the journey of listening to house music I found JOYRYDE, one of the greats in house music. In his spotify, he linked the new release ofanother artist that he was friends with. This was Nitepunk, my inway to Dubstep. Once I found Nitepunk I was astounded, and I found the Label (Never Say Die Records), and listened to a lot of the music in that record label. At this point in time I found Leotrix, and found myself in sync with some of his interesting musical decisions. Around now is when I finally got FL Studio Mobile, the platform where I made music for awhile. Along with this, around the time I also found my most favorite dubstep artist, beastboi.. The first time I heard a song from beastboi. I thought it was Leotrix, but then found that it was actually made by beastboi.. beastboi. took crazy whack dubstep sounds, and then gave them interesting flow and so much attention to detail, drawing inspiration from hiphop and soul. This artist by far inspired me to really start making dubstep, and I started to make less house. So, this begins the melodrive. phase. In this phase, I made a lot of dubstep, and the music of melodrive. is available on Soundcloud.

Present

And then one year ago, the name Tyler the Creator got stuck in my head, and I looked him up and listened to his albums. When I did that, everything changed. I found what one could do with hiphop and soul, and it opened up a whole new world of music for me. And some time later on one night I found myself then planning to make a hiphop album, after I went to a record store with my sister, and found a section for Tyler the Creator. So then I set off to arrange, produce, sing, rap; and after 8 months of work, the musical work of Slo Bo was completed. I am currently working on getting ready to release it sometime in the future. I have performed Slo Bo at a Local Venue before, and this recent summer, I did a rap as santa with visuals for a summer camp talent show.

Future

In the near future, I plan to take up some more performing because it is really fun and I plan to work on Slo Bo more leading up to the release.
